From the
Foreword:
Would to God every believer in America would read this book. It
addresses the greatest need of the Church in this critical hour
of history—a heaven-sent revival.
The prophet Isaiah cried, "oh, that thou wouldest rent the
heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at your
presence." What a difference the presence of God makes.
Mountains, those seemingly immovable obstacles that defy the
advance of God's Kingdom, suddenly melt before the presence of a
holy God.

Every year the American Church spends multiple millions of
dollars on various types of evangelism and yet, in the words of
the apostle Peter, "we have toiled all night and caught
nothing." Peter was a professional fisherman with a
lifetime of experience and he knew all about the tides and
seasons. He knew how, when, and where to fish. He was committed
to his task, having toiled throughout the long dark hours of the
night, and yet in the end, had little to show for his efforts.
Likewise, the 20th century Church is continuing the same
pattern. Only when Jesus became involved in Peter's fishing
business did his nets begin to break under the weight of the
fish.
This book is filled with examples of Jesus stepping down from
eternity into time, and forever changing life's, cities, and
nations. I've had the privilege of sitting under the anointed
Ministry of the author. He is a true "revivalists" with a
burning passion for God's glory to be revealed again, in and
through the Church. Glenn and his wife, Jessica, are a rare
breed these days. They have gladly relinquish the normal
luxuries of life to travel throughout the nation by motor home,
ministering wherever God opens doors. Their lifestyle is simple,
the message powerful, and their lives humble. I recommend both
this book and their Ministry to you. —David

Rend The Heavens was written to stir
spiritually hungry saints to the dire need for revival in our
land. Genuine revival is an invasion from Heaven which brings to
men a conscious awareness of God. It changes churches and
transforms society. This is what it means for the Lord to
Rend the Heavens.
The greatest spiritual advances the Church has ever made were
accomplished through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The God
of revival has transformed cities and nations in the past. He
will do it again.
This book addresses:
- What defines genuine revival
- The necessity of Revival
- How spiritual awakenings begin
- Our responsibility in preparing the way
Glenn
Meldrum, a national evangelist since 1997, was radically

1970's. He is ordained and holds an MA in theology and church
history from Ashland Theological Seminary. His 15 years of
pastoral experience includes an urban, multicultural church, a
rural church and a Romanian congregation. Glenn, and his wife
Jessica, yearn for God's presence and power to be manifested
through the local church to reach a perishing world.
