Fast Food Evangelism shows readers how to engage in
effective ministry through the use of tracts. The book
introduces simple, low-risk and effective soul-winning
habits that can be incorporated into daily life.
The
author, David LeFlore Jr., also uses teaching and training
materials developed by other successful ministries including
material from Billy Graham.
The American Tract Society was founded on May 11, 1825
for a specific purpose: To make Jesus Christ known in His
redeeming grace and to promote the interests of vital
godliness and sound morality, by the circulation of
Religious Tracts, calculated to receive the approbation of
all Evangelical Christians (from the ATS Statement of
Purpose, 1825).

American Tract's first home in 1825 was a
four-story building at 87 Nassau Street in New York City (at
right). Later, in 1894, American Tract built a 23-story
headquarters near Broadway and Fifth Avenue in New York
City, which still stands today. At the time of its
construction it was one of the tallest buildings in NY City.
The Frank E. Gaebelein Library, now housed in the present
headquarters of the Society, houses books, booklets, tracts
and pamphlets from the 180-year history of the Society.
